Kurzbeschreibung: The New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO and the Bioethics Centre are happy to announce the following international conference which will follow the New Zealand Bioethics Conference:

Ethics of Knowledge Production, 12-13 February 2006, Salmond Hall, Dunedin

The conference is one of several Ethics Conferences that UNESCO are conducting all over the world. This event will include:

* Discussion of the UNESCO international programme on research ethics and key international declarations.

* Ethics education in the social and human sciences including attention to indigenous people and research ethics, best practice in Maori/Pacific research and environmental ethics.

* Pacific Sub-regional meeting on Research Ethics. (Tuesday, 14 February)
