Kurzbeschreibung: In 2006 the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and the European Association of Centres of Medical Ethics (EACME) will organise the annual conference "New Pathways for European Bioethics" (September 28-30, 2006, Leuven) on the occasion of their *20th anniversary*.

The main topics of the conference are:

- Social Sciences and Bioethics

- Care Ethics

- Bioethics, Law, and Politics

- New Technologies and Bioethics

The program of the conference includes plenary sessions as well as parallel sessions. Persons wishing to present papers at the conference are invited to

*submit an abstract

*addressing the ethical dimensions of
the conference topics (500 words maximum)

*before March 1, 2006*.
