Kurzbeschreibung: The HFEA is holding a public discussion on the use of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for lower penetrance conditions on the afternoon of 12th December 2005 at the Royal Society, London.

We will be discussing the use of PGD for lower penetrance genes that cause a susceptibility to conditions such as inherited breast cancer, inherited ovarian cancer and a type of inherited bowel cancer (HNPCC).

The meeting will be based around question raised in a discussion document which will be launched at the end of October.
