Kurzbeschreibung: The European Spring Event on Neuroethics will take the form of lectures, workshops and excursions. Starting from an analysis of basic questions in brain research we will examine the relevance of this research in confrontation with ethical and legal issues.

Main goals:

* Functional Architecture of the Brain

* Evolution of the Human Brain

* Cognitive representation, perception and action planning

* Freedom � just an illusion?

* Pharmalogical Enhancement of Cognition
Brain/Machine Interface

* Neuroscience and Spirituality

Students from more than 15 different European countries and the United States take part. To guarantee a real European conference only 5 students per nation will be permitted.

We are looking forward to a personal meeting with you at the European Spring Event on Neuroethics 2006 here in Ludwigshafen.
