Kurzbeschreibung: Following the immense success of the opening conference at the Royal Society, London, the second conference will be held in Istanbul, on April 28-29, 2006. It will be organised along similar lines to present detailed ethical analyses of modern trends in normal and assisted human conception as moral philosophers respond to scientists and clinicians who outline the basis of modern technologies. World-leading speakers will be invited to maintain the early traditions of this event. Some of the topics to be covered will extend the discussions held in London, whereas others will be novel.

The Conference will be held in the Swissotel Bosphorus, Istanbul - Turkey. Stress will be placed on the basis of moral philosophy as a guide to the social and ethical aspects of the fields under debate. Ample discussion time will be available within the sessions and during the coffee and luncheon breaks. The Proceedings will be published in Reproductive BioMedicine Online. All are welcome to come and make their points.
