Kurzbeschreibung: This is an experimental course covering the following topics: classical and molecular genetic methods, DNA, RNA and protein techniques, cell cycle and sexual differentiation experiments.

The course is aiming at:

- post-docs experienced in other fields, about to start on S. pombe projects

- post-docs already working on isolated S. pombe projects within research groups primarily concerned with other systems

- especially motivated Ph.D. students
