Kurzbeschreibung: Dr. Isaac Franck was a Senior Research Scholar at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics from 1979 to his death in 1985. He turned the Jewish Community Council of Greater Washington into an influential forum on local, national, and international questions during the 25 years that he served as its Executive Vice President. Dr. Franck published research papers in The Review of Metaphysics, The Philosophical Forum, and other professional journals, as well as in cooperative volumes on aspects on the history of philosophy. He also contributed to current understanding and evaluation of Maimonides and Spinoza. He was a member of the American Philosophical Association, the American Sociological Society, the Association for Jewish Studies, and the National Association for Social Workers.
