After attending the program, participants will be better able to:

* Recognize the moral issues raised by genetic engineering.

* Consider the societal implications of the increasing capacity to do genetic screening.

* Examine the impact of the rapidly evolving field of stem-cell research.

* Evaluate the morality of human cloning.

* Identify cross-disciplinary measures for coping with these challenges.
