Kurzbeschreibung: The Scripps Center for Organ and Cell Transplantation offered the first New Advances in Solid Organ Transplantation conference in the fall of 2003. The program has been successfully running for five years. The 2008 program will feature an array of important topics in transplantation including updates on immunosuppression, complex lipid management in the transplant patient, transplanting the difficult patient, genomics and proteomics in transplantation. The program will consist of plenary speeches from nationally known experts in the field, panel discussions and opportunities for poster and case presentation segments.

The Solid Organ Transplantation conference is designed for health care professionals specializing in the fields of Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology.
