Kurzbeschreibung: Bioethics is a multidisciplinary field and World Congress a meeting-point of bioethicists from across the Globe. Thus, it is my great honor to announce that Croatian nurses for the first time will enter the world?s bioethics arena, organizing a one-day-symposium dedicated to bioethical issues in nursing. Ethical principles and ethical treatments are the core and basis of nursing practice, so it would be very interesting to gain insights from our colleagues? experiences from different geographical and cultural areas.

It is very important to know in which measure is the patient active participant of his treatment, and how much is the holistic approach to the patient used as a declarative concept, since the patient should be in the center of all events during health care.

We expect to share our own experiences and to gain new information as we address old and new ethical problems and dilemmas, address possible solutions, while enjoying time on the beautiful coast of the Adriatic Sea.

note: sessions will be held in Croatian and English.
