Kurzbeschreibung: Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the Local Organization Committee it is our pleasure to invite you to join the 5th Annual Meeting of the European Transplant Coordination Organization which will be held in Riga, Latvia from 3rd to 5th October 2008.

The scientific program of the Congress will also review the practical aspects of major problems in organ and tissue procurement for transplantation. We consider the organization of the 5th Congress of the ETCO in Riga as recognition of the role of the Baltic countries in the development of transplantation procedures.

We believe that besides the scientific program, the Latvian capital Riga will attract you as an ancient, beautiful city with lots of architectural treasures, and musical and cultural events.

October is the best month and the time we recommend our friends to visit Riga.

We will be happy to meet you and we look forward to seeing you in Riga.

Dr. Janis Bicans, ETCO LOC President
