Kurzbeschreibung: The design of the ESOT meeting in Glasgow is based on transplantation themes, covering the
multi-disciplinary nature of transplantation, rather than “organ specific” topics, It is designed to
use novel and innovative, interactive sessions to deliver a conference experience tailored to the
individual. We have drawn on the expertise of opinion leaders across the field of transplantation
to design an inspiring event. Key changes in ESOT for 2011 include:

• A conference based on transplantation themes

• Meet the expert interactive session

• Innovative poster sessions with many presentations

• Embedded CME teaching sessions

• Downloadable, real-time, and individually tailored conference and CME materials.

We would plan that ESOT Glasgow 2011 would be a modern meeting which takes all that we
have learnt from previous successful ESOT meetings but adds a new dimension to continuing
education for all professionals looking after patients who require a transplant.

The UK in general and Glasgow in particular is well known for being able to organise excellent
social interaction. To combine with a novel scientific programme, we wish to invite you to
exciting social sessions which will demonstrate the warm-hearted reception given to guests in
Scotland. Glasgow has a rich historical legacy with impressive buildings both old and modern.
There will be a refreshing mix of informal and formal events to satisfy all tastes.
