Kurzbeschreibung: What is the best way to study subjective experience? The aim of this workshop is to explicitly approach the challenge of how to break down the conventional borders between neuroscience and philosophy in order to build an interdisciplinary framework for the study of consciousness. A select group of expert philosophers and neuroscientists share how they have incorporated neuroscientific and philosophical concepts and arguments into their work, in order to delineate what we can learn from each discipline, how we can unify them – and the necessity of a meaningful communication between researchers.
