Kurzbeschreibung: The two-day workshop with Prof. Ruth Faden and Prof. Madison Powers focuses on their 2006 book, entitled ‘Social Justice: The Moral Foundations of Public Health and Heath Policy’ (OUP 2006). The meeting will be dedicated to presentations of papers by young and advanced researchers, in-depth discussion sessions with Prof. Faden and Prof. Powers, as well as a public lecture on the topic of Children and Social Justice, by the authors. The workshop aims to provide an informal platform for an interdisciplinary exchange on social justice, with a focus on Powers and Faden’s social justice theory.
Abstracts for the papers should be submitted by March 1, 2012
