Kurzbeschreibung: Tunisia will host the Global Summit of National Ethics Committees in September 2012. The Tunisian National Ethics Committees work in close collaboration with Ethics and Health in ETH (serving as permanent secretariat of the Global Summits), on the organization of this important meeting which is a unique event for consensus building on priority ethical issues to be addressed globally. The Summit had taken place in several continents, for the 1st time it will take place in Africa.

All National Bioethics Advisory Bodies are invited to participate in the 9th Global Summit in Tunisia. Each body may send one or two representatives. As in previous years, the host country will bear the cost of organizing the Global Summit while participating organizations will be responsible for the travel and accommodation expenses of their representatives.
