The course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate Moral Case Deliberation (MCD), and fosters reflection on and development of a personal facilitation style.
Target group:
Members of ethics committees, (clinical) ethicists, health care professionals, pastoral staff, teachers, managers, team leaders and directors. Prior experience with MCD is preferable but not a formal condition.
Format:
The training program consists of five days. During the first three consecutive days, participants acquire basic knowledge and skills required for facilitating MCD. After that, they will practice MCD in their own institution in their own country. A two‐day follow‐up is organized after six months, in order to exchange experiences and exercise new skills, based on insights/questions from practice. The language of instruction is English.
Fee:
The training fee is € 2500. This includes tuition, course materials and a certificate. Deadline for registration: October 1st 2017.
