Kurzbeschreibung: The 2002 HTA conference is organized and hosted by the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. For this year's conference, we are particularly interested in receiving proposals for papers that deal with the general theme.

We invite individual papers and session proposals addressing the conference theme from all possible disciplinary angels, such as its representation in literature, the visual arts, political essays, or scientific and philosophical writings.

In addition to the conference theme, papers on all other aspects of the interaction of technology, science, and the humanities are welcome.
