Kurzbeschreibung: The Centre for Ethics in Medicine is offering a one-day training course for members of hospital clinical ethics committees and others involved or interested in clinical ethics. It is run by members of the faculty from the University of Bristol's Centre for Ethics in Medicine. It is designed to appraise attendees of current developments and debates in clinical ethics, bioethics and medical law, provide a practical introduction/refresher to ethical theory, and facilitate learning through case studies and open forum discussion.
A two-course lunch is provided, with regular refreshments.

This course will help you to:
Critically engage with some topical debates in clinical ethics;
Develop your awareness and understanding of ethical theories;
Use theory to gain insights into difficult cases;
