Kurzbeschreibung: How are people with disabilities (disabled people) using—or choosing not to use—technologies to promote individual flourishing? Which technologies, and under what circumstances, truly enhance a person’s ability to live the most meaningful life? Join the discussion at 3 pm on September 29, 2020. This event will have an ASL interpreter and will be closed captioned.

The Hastings Center is presenting the second in a series of public conversations that will explore how people with disabilities are using—or choosing not to use—technologies to promote their own flourishing. Which technologies, and under what circumstances, truly enhance a person’s ability to live the most meaningful life? Yomi S. Wrong, Rod Michalko, and Kim Q. Hall will join Erik Parens, Rosemarie Garland-Thomson, and Joel Michael-Reynolds for a virtual discussion. (ASL & captioning provided)
