Kurzbeschreibung: In 2005 the European Association of Centres of Medical Ethics (EACME) will organise its annual conference together with the European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Healthcare (ESPMH) in Barcelona.

The Institut Borja de Bioètica-Universitat Ramon Llull, will be the host and the main organiser and co-ordinator of the event.

The focus of the conference is on ethical and philosophical issues in relation to emerging medical technologies. Abstracts addressing the ethical and philosophical dimensions of the following topics can be submitted:

The program of the conference includes plenary sessions as well as parallel sessions.
