Kurzbeschreibung: Genetics has a key role in the management of specific types of cancer. Genetics may have a role in diagnosing earlier and treating more specifically with a greater benefit to risk margin. The aim of this workshop is to introduce how new technique and application - such as gene expression arrays and pharmacogenetics - are influencing the practice of oncology medicine and describe the basic science that underpins these techniques.
